Exception: if your character was already created on our MAIN server, you may of course continue using that character. Then you do not need to create a new one.

🧩 Required launcher & server mods

Varga-Tech Launcher/Chat is an important part of this server

REQUIRED

All players on the Varga-Tech Windrose MAIN server must use the same approved mod list. The launcher reads the manifest, shows source/rights notices and synchronizes only files owned by Varga-Tech or files with confirmed distribution permission.

1 · Start the launcherSteam/Windrose is detected automatically or can be selected manually.

2 · Load server mod listThe current list is read dynamically from the Varga-Tech manifest.

3 · Match the clientMissing or outdated approved files are installed. Unknown local mods are archived outside the game folder.

Important for all players:
The active client folder <Windrose>\R5\Content\Paks\~mods is automatically matched to the Varga-Tech server state. This keeps client and server on the same .pak, .ucas and .utoc files.

The synced Varga-Tech mods are mandatory for windrose-vargatech.de MAIN Server.
Without these mods you may get wrong textures, missing content, connection issues or other compatibility errors. If you continue playing on our MAIN Server, keep using the Launcher and automatic mod sync.

Privacy notice

For verification we store only data required for access protection and abuse prevention: email, Discord name, character name, IP address, timestamp, user agent and, if provided by the proxy, rough geo headers such as country/region/city. Purpose: password protection, spam/griefing prevention, abuse traceability and support. Verification events may be reported internally via Discord webhook. Retention is approx. 90 days or longer if a security incident must be reviewed.
